Rule of Thirds!

For  this project, I chose to take pictures of kids that I babysit. It was fun for me because I love the way they think and their outlooks on life. It was also intriguing because I couldn't wait to see what the pictures were going to look like when I developed it.

PORTRAIT PROJECT

These are pictures of the music pastor's baby at my church.
I love this first photo because it shows the not-so-appealing side of a baby, but I still think it's cute. This baby is great and he usually doesn't cry, but right here he had just woken up from his nap. :)

This second photo is sort of interesting because it doesn't look like he has a facial expression figured out and you can really see the detail in his left eye.

I love this picture, too, because it shows what a happy and joyful baby he is. He almost never cries and is most definitely a PK (Pastor's Kid).

This picture is probably one of my favorites because this is the face he always makes and it makes me wonder what he is thinking about.
This picture is one of my favorites too because I love the look in his eyes. He's actually looking at his big brother, whom he loves a lot, as you can tell! It's also cool because it's a natural smile.
The more pictures I take, the more I love photo!

Photogram

My photogram is a wooden giraffe along with two pieces of a gum wrapper chain. I don't think the gum wrappers had enough pressure onto the platform and that resulted in not enough absolute white. I don't particularly like this photo, but I think it turned out alright.

Pinhole Project

This Pinhole Project was especially difficult for me because I had to take four pinhole photographs until the paw picture came out (or, rather, I ran out of time ;) ). I did enjoy it, though. It's awesome how you can make a camera out of ordinary materials. My favorite of the four would have to be the last one, my self portrait inverted. I like it because you can almost see my face and the colors look interesting and cool.

One Thing Project

This is a picture of a Bible. Unfortunately, I  didn't take it because my negatives didn't turn out. My camera wasn't working so I needed to get a new camera, but now I did! So I am excited to do my next project. Although I did not take this picture, I enjoyed developing it very much.
